No more copy and paste
Zack KI takes selected text from Outlook, Word, your browser or almost any other app and adds it to your question as context.
Answers go where you write
One click inserts the answer into the text field of your previous app. You can also copy whole answers or individual code blocks.
Improve text without opening a window
Select text and press Ctrl+Alt+1 to improve it or Ctrl+Alt+2 to correct it. The result replaces your selection right in your app.

Say it more clearly
“Improve” refines wording and style while keeping the language, meaning, technical terms and names.

“Fix errors” corrects spelling, grammar and punctuation without changing your word choice, sentence structure or style.

Answers about files, your screen and the web
Ask about PDFs and Office files
Select files in Explorer and press Alt+1, or drag them into the window. Ask about PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, image or text files, for example to check a quote against a price list.
Ask about what you see
If nothing is selected, drag out an area of your screen after Alt+1, such as an error message, a chart or a form, and ask about it.
Current information with sources
Web search brings current information into your answer. Open the sources directly from the chat.
Send only what belongs
Before sending, you see every attachment and can remove anything that does not belong to the question.
Answers that suit you
Fast or thorough
Quick answers short questions, rewrites and summaries promptly. Deep takes more time for tasks that need several steps of reasoning.
Answers in your style
Set personal instructions, for example on tone or format, and choose an answer length available on your plan.
Follow up instead of starting over
Ask follow-up questions, edit a sent message or generate a new answer and switch between versions. Read answers as they are written and stop them when you need to.
Your data, your choice
Your chats stay on your PC
Your chat history is stored only locally; the Zack servers do not keep it. You decide how long chats are kept.
Your own API key or a local model
Connect your own key, for example from OpenAI, OpenRouter or Mistral, or a local model server such as Ollama or LM Studio, and choose the models for Quick and Deep. You then use no Zack credits.
Your account under your control
Export your account data or delete your account right in the app. Diagnostic data is only sent if you turn it on.
Easy every day
Find past chats quickly
New chats get a fitting title automatically, and search finds them again. Copy whole conversations as Markdown into your notes.
